Just got them in late last night they have settled in well and eating like pigs.

Scleromystax sp. cw147 is a rare species in the hobby I have attached a few pictures.

I look forward to watching these mature into adults and hope to one day have them spawn as they are likely endangered in the wild.

They look old enough to sex so maybe by the fall.

I have a pretty good idea on the ratio/sex. 2 male 4 female They are sexually mature @ 3" in size, these are 2.5" good food and clean water until they show spawning behaviour.

I will post any updates with them in the future.

Others that also have matured specimens in the uk and USA have also experienced spawns in the last month or so. Could be a seasonal trigger I agree. Fry seem to be doing well so far. I will post pictures as they mature a bit more.
