What is the typical life span of a cory?

My friend gave me a common bronze cory because his son was not interested in keeping fish any more. He told me he had it for around 10 years, it lived in my tanks for few more years. I would put the age of the cory around 15.

 

My clown loaches are around 20 years old and still going strong :).

That's awesome. My sterbai group is about 6 years old. Only been in the hobby for about 8 years

I have had corys 15 to 20 years.
