Ok, so my 50g has for some reason been attacked with 1 or more bacteria/diseases.

I have lost 6 L183s to Columnaris and 3-4 of my zebra plecos have these red round sores on the side of their heads. I cant seem to figure out what they are. I  had it once a few months back and dosed metro and it went away.

I was dosing metro for a week and that did not work and then used kanaplex and then dosing metro in the their food. I have not lost a fish yet since using kana plex. Fish seem to be doing a bit  better even the L183's that seem to be covered in the white stuff. I just dosed kanaplex/metroplex together as I read online you need both to kill this.

I still cannot figure out what these red sores on the side of the L46 heads are. Anyone have any idea on  how to treat this?

Hi thanks for the reply and help guys. I was doing research and changed dosage to kanaplex / bifuran+ . Apparently the red sore are secondary symptoms of a columnaris outbreak. Hopefully this combo works and clears things up.

It won't treat the worms

Levamisole is what will help with the worms
