Please help SEX!~! L46/L236

Hi, so I have been growing out my L236 for about 8 months now and they are all 3-3.5". I need help sexing them and hope I don't have all males :dumb: .

 

I also need help sexing my 2 L46 which I totally hope are not male as I already have 4 all males :( . The 2 L46 are at least 2.5"

The l236 all look like males. The first zebra might not be a male. The last one looks like a male

Hi Mike,

 

First and foremost, you have done a very good job in growing your L236. They look very healthy for sure.  Take more pics especially of the pectorals fins so that i can really confirm. 

 

With the L46, you have a pair.

Thats really bad luck if they are all males my gawddd.. lol..

 

 

Thanks Marte yeah they grew really fast they are as big as my full grown adult L46 which are at least 3.5".

 

 

So the zebra on the left Female?

In my opinion, all L236 look like males.

If you are lucky you may have a zebra pair.

Looks all L236 are higher chance of a male and also your zebra higher chance a pair bu FYI ratio every 4 females only 1 is will chance ti be a spawner....

sorry did not quite get what you meant. That sucks 1 in 4 females will breed. lol.. I think I should just give up now I've spent so much on them only to get mostly males :dumb:

Hi marte just going back and taking a look at this photo of the suspected female. The females  have that much spikes on the pectoral fin as well? In the photo you can see spins
