I purchased some very nice L134, about 1" in size. Guys look very healthy, but Ive had them for close to a week now, and I cant seem to get them to eat, all they do is hide.

My set-up is very simple:

10g

2 dual sponge filters

heater to 78f

glass lid.

3 guppies and 7 L134 in this tank.

I have tried to feed them baby brine shrimp, blood worms, NLS and Northfin Pellets but no interest. Tried at multiple times during the day, lights on and lights out, even 30min after pitch black.

They just seem to hide behind the filters and heater and never come out to eat.

I threw in a  piece of driftwood in hopes they might like it, but no interested has been shown.

Should I throw in a bunch more decor for them to feel more comfortable? I don't want to lose these awesome little guys because they won't eat!! :(

I would put more wood and caves...........raise the temp to 80. The new fish may take a few more days to get comfortable.

Throw food in at night and in the morning. Don't watch the tank and let them settle.

I agree with the temp should be at least 80 or 82
