Very nice looking plecos. A German strain should be good stock. Let me know when you have fry ready.

Hi Charlie,
Definitely you are on my list but as I was mentioned with you on pm. I had no luck to raise the bn fry. I have few batches of long fin calico but end up I lost everything. Hope I can keep them this time.
Quick updated the L144 male kicked out few wiggler eggs. I collected and put them in the tumblers.

You do not need a tumbler for bushynose fry or eggs. I have eggs kicked out and I just put them in a gallon jar or pail with a drop of acriflavine and an air stone at room temperature. Change some water to get rid of the egg casings after they hatch. I find they do better in the low 70's but fry grow faster in the mid 70's.

Hey Le, when I seen your post about Dragon King Aquarium having L144 longfins adults there, I have managed to get the very last longfin male with a shortfin female, they have started to show breeding behaviors few hours of being brought home. Here is a video of them: https://youtu.be/vEdel84OCfM

Unless the short fin female comes from long fin parents they will not have any long fin fry. Best of luck as there is a good chance that she does.

The L134 males didn't do a good job this time, both males kicked out a lot of eggs. 8 got eaten by my shrimps, decided to remove the fry from caves to save the left over. But I couldn't believe what I have seen, additional 27 fry from both males. Here are the pictures.

Haven't updated for a while. The L333 tank had a minor leak and I decided to remove all the pleco and reseal the tank.

Here is few pictures of the L333 breeding group (total of 19, 4 refused to leave the cave) and fry as well.
