Hi everyone,

I'm new posting here and I have a question about my Pleco, I am wondering if it's sick.

He seems a bit off. I took him out of the tank to see if the color changes on him. He's normally all one color, but then these appeared today (see picture). I do not know his species so I don't know if this is normal.

Any thoughts? Is he okay? Sick? What can I do to help him?

Thanks!

That to me looks like a regular colouration of many common bushynose. Just growing into his colours you can see the lightness starting in the old picture.

Looks like a normal male brown bushynose pleco. Colours can change with mood or conditions.

Nothing looks wrong there, if he's off make sure your giving some good quality fresh veggies.

Thanks
