Hi everyone,

Just curious which cory type you were able to keep the longest time for.  Type and number of years would be great.  Also, at what temp did you keep the water at, just room temp, or higher?

Thanks

It is partly on how well they are looked after and whether they escape or survive bouts of disease.

I have not had luck with Corys I think 3 years at the most. I do have 5 fish that are at least 15 years old. 4 of them are clown loach and one is a Talipia. My Son was 8 years old when I bought a pair of Talipia for him and now he has moved out and left the big guy with me. He looks great so I have no idea how long he will live. My wife keeps telling me he going to be our dinner one of these days :).

Longest I have had is 5years but then I traded them and they are still actively digging and swimming in a big tank for the past 3 years - so a total of 8 for punctatus (group of 10) with a really large female as the leader.
