They looked pretty good as we'll. I'm waiting for some from new Pleco's from Rich just thought there might be some looking.

You can be at one LFS SOME OF THE TIME but not all of them ALL OF THE TIME.

BA scarb had two L24 but they didnt look to be in the best of shape. Two nice looking L330 in the same tank as a really nice looking spiny monster aka L096 priced at $129 about 8inches and a couple magnums that were overpriced imo

talked to some of the FW employees, they said they have never seen prices on large pseudas this low, hence the reason why most BA's have been getting on board the pleco train

The one benefit to ordering the large plecos like that from brazil or guiana is they will pack one large psuedo with 20+ gold nuggets that cost next to nothing.  Then the expensive pleco offsets the shipping costs and if the large plecos cost enough.. then your order has a 1.0 landed factor so if a gold nugget cost ya 2 bucks it landed for like 2.1.  This is why I wish I wasnt so nervous about bringing in large plecos like that it would make all of them cost less

Sorry Steve, I don't really agree with your logic here.  If you bring 10 huge plecos that take up half a box, thats 5 boxes... and from Brazil thats $1000 + in shipping, each fish has an added price of at least $100 just for shipping.

I see it as if i order thunger royal plecos i can get 6 in a box at 275 or so cost a piece, if i ask for a half box of them i can load the other half with 45 gold nuggets. Cost on a box from brazil is what 200-250 for most people?  put that together at 3 x 275 + 45 x 2 thats 915 bucks cost for fish in one box shipping is 200 therefore the shipping is almost completely ignored for the gold nuggets because the cost of the tunders is so high it off sets it.  I dont know how to explain it without giving out to many numbers and such that i cant lol
