I got these as L181s, looks different form the ones in the internet. The body is black with orangeish/white spot.

All black spotted ancistrus are given the name starlight the same as many barred plecos are called tigers. There are many all about the same 6 inch size that are difficult to tell apart as they can vary in colouration. The names they come in with are often wrong and people that have several that are similar often get them mixed up. It is quite likely that it could be a L-181. An indication would be to give us the size and a look at his back.

I have L183s and I'm sure they're not it. They don't have the white-ish blue seam. I know someone here with L182s and they don't look like hes either.
