So I've got a VERY strange mix of fish in my 300g right now. Somewhat by accident. It used to be the home to a group of 30 ish tropheus and I sold them all and threw my big oscar and some WC Piranhas (Piryas) yellow bellies, needed a change and I've never had piranha before so thought they would be neat.

Soooo... A few fry excaped my netting (which is not hard to do when they have 20 sq feet to hide. Anyhow, there are at least 3 tropheus in this tank now that are 1.5-2" with 6 x 4" Piranhas, a big oscar and some massive panaques. All doing well and growing. STRANGE. Wonder how long they will last before becoming lunch.

You can see one of the Tropheus in the bottom left.

A special mix of fish, maybe your tropheus will survive for a long while if u have enough hiding places. BTW, do want another 8"+ Oscar for free???

By far Motoro Stingrays, they used to hover in the water and stare at me while I was watching the tank and while I was hand feeding them I could get them to hop around the tank like a puppy then climb up on the glass and eat the food off there. They were awesome but just grow to big.

I love rays! Would like to add some smaller ones to this strange tank mix of mine now. Just added 6 x Golden Dorados! Should be interesting in a year when everything is HUGE!

I have 2 3 inch wide motoro stingrays at Newmarket Big Als still, male/female can cut you a deal. ALSO, I have a datanoid I took in at the store off a friend who needs a nice big home if anyone is interested? He is extremely smart amazing fish HOWEVER he is about 20 inches and 10 pounds and still growing fast.

My butis butis is a very interesting fish that I'm keeping now. Theyre little ambush predators very cool tho! I got myself another eel hopefully this one stays in the tank. But nothing compares to the stingrays I used to be able to pet mine between their eyes and they could come suck on my fingers to get blood worms.

hehe, my tropheus is still living with the Piranhas and Golden Dorado, they are all at least 6" now and the tropheus just swims around in front of them without a worry in the world.
