Hey Everyone, guess what...another clutch of eggs. I'm counting at least 8; hard to tell as the male is doing a good job of protecting them! I also wanted to say that it helped moving some of the zebras to another tank, both groups of young zebras are growing even more as there is now less competition for food. Cheers.

Hi Lorne, Glad to hear they are doing well and not being shy. When I feed my guys at night, some of the bigger ones come out right away to snag some food. I turn the lights off and after 20 minutes or so sneak back in with a flashlight and it's so neat to see all the zebras out and about, they are definitely a unique looking pleco! Enjoy.

It's easy to produce Victoria/Vancouver -- just use RO/DI. :D
How many addictions can I have without overload?

UPDATE - MY F1 stock is now breeding!!

I've been keeping my F1 stock in a second tank for a few years now - this is the stock I typically sell from as I leave my WC parents in another tank (they are still breeding but slowing down).  Well I've been growing my F1 stock out and have noticed a juvenile pair in a cave and two days ago there was a small clutch of eggs.  YAY!!  I estimate they are 2-3 yrs old and about 3" in length. They still look juvenile.  Not sure if the first clutch will make it but fingers crossed...
