Well I've been feeding my Tropheus the Soilent Green for about a week now and they go totally insane over the stuff.

I noticed some spawning again the other day too after at least a 1 month hiatus. I've switched nearly completely over to Repashy products on this tank which has 40 odd Tropheus in it and a dozen Petrochromis Bulu Point's.

Heres a little video of them enjoying a meal!

I've been feeding a small group of Tropheus Fry (5) only Soilent Green, they have been spit for I think 2 weeks now are are growing really fast! They are on the food before it even hits the bottom of the tank. Then they pick away at it for hours. As a comparison some other fry were spit a few days later and I left them in the tank with the parents and they are about half the size of the ones that have been feasting on the Repashy!

Hi Rich,

Take pictures and document it. It would be a very valuable sample later.

Really hard to take pictures, as the other group of fry are in my 300g with the adults and are kinda hard to find, let alone take pics. Catching them is out of the question too :(

I'm kind of late to the party on this one. How many tropheus, and what ratio are you keeping in what size of tank?

that group is sold several months ago now, they were all in a 10' tank. No idea the ratio but they breed none stop.

Now I have 20 some Kiriza's in a 4x2x2' 120g tank and they seem to be doing well. Again no idea ratio, but they have started to breed as I have a few small guys swimmin around in the tank.
