I am still not sure how to tell the difference between M/F on pleco's, so any help would be great.

The first one looks like a female to me. The other I'm not sure.

For Three Beacons, I usually look at head shape from above. That one looks pretty plump, so it could be a female; but, it's still small and likely unsexible and just well fed. :)

Ok I just finished cleaning thier tank, & the other L66 I have wouldn't come out of it's cave, but is darker & alot more slender than the Female, so must be a male. I did get my 2 L91 & 2 L264's out & took pics, so I hope they can be sexed.

The one Three Beacon is sure big, I'm guessing that is the female, but not sure about the other, if it is a male, I hope I can get them to breed.

the 264 look like one male and one female, going by Ingo Seidel's book. Back to Nature I think is the name of the book.

I think you're in luck for the L91 as well, but it might be 2 females. The bottom one is on a bit of an angle, but males tend to have more of a pointed or V-shaped heads.

Thats great news, I lucked out on getting one of each, now just need them to mate, I have 5 L128 Blue Phantoms too, so I'm sure I've got some breeders in there too but they are still only about 2"-2 1/2" so will be a while for those little guys.
